DESCRIPTION
xCustom sapphire glass substrates are precision-manufactured from single-crystal aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), offering a combination of mechanical, thermal, and optical properties that no conventional glass material can match. With a Mohs hardness of 9, a working temperature exceeding 1000°C, and broad spectral transmission from UV through infrared, sapphire is the material of choice when operating conditions are simply too demanding for standard substrates.
Available formats include square plates, wafers, stepped components, and drilled parts, all manufactured to tight dimensional tolerances. Whether the requirement is a precision optical window for a high-temperature furnace, a substrate for semiconductor processing, or a wear-resistant component in a corrosive vacuum environment, single-crystal sapphire delivers consistent performance where other materials degrade or fail.
